COUNTRY GONE CHIC

If you were lucky enough to be hanging around G-Ville this past weekend you’ll know this country gone chic lil’ community was happening. Taste of Alexander Valley was in full swing kickin’ off one of our favorite seasons … Our busy one!
From the smell of an open flame wood burning grill and the steamy aroma of some uptown mobile food cuisine, the nectar of the gods was flowing and the town was smiling.

The envious were here to visit and the grateful were glad to call Geyserville home.

Celebrating 100 years        1911 – 2011

Bosworth & Son General Merchandise, located in Geyserville, California, is an old fashioned store, rich in nostalgia and charm, yet meeting the needs of today’s townsfolk, visiting the store is like a step back in time. Look for the upcoming centennial celebration.

ROCKING THE RAVIOLI WITH GUY FIERI!

As we mentioned in an earlier post, the tiny hamlet of Geyserville was completely abuzz with the news that Sonoma County home boy Guy Fieri had brought his Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives show to Catelli’s Restaurant.

Domenica and Nick Catelli’s “third generation joint” came back to town a little over a year ago, and was newly remodeled for casual friendliness…successfully it seems given the crowd, or as Guy said, “it’s just like coming home”.

Since day one, we have loved those awesome meatball sliders, with their savory artisan bread, meat and marinara. And so does Guy evidently, along with “one of the best raviolis ever”!
